My wife and I were doing a small road trip thru Michigan. Frankenmuth Country B&B was the 2nd stop on our journey. We are both extremely happy with our stop there. Alice and Jim were both very welcoming and gracious host. And of course I can’t leave out Ruby their Goldendoodle. The personality on that dog is amazing. They made us feel very comfortable and right at home. Gave us plenty of space to relax in their home and didn’t mind or have a problem with us roaming around the property and didn’t mind us imposing on their time either. If Alice wasn’t running a B&B she could definitely run a breakfast place. Both mornings the breakfast was great. Started you off with fresh fruit with a homemade granola and yogurt , poached eggs and bacon smoked by Jim along with homemade bread. The next morning the same except waffles vs eggs and more of that great bacon. All served up with a very pleasant and charming Alice. Both Alice and Jim shared a lot of their stories about the building of their B&B. They also have a photo album for you to look at. Their living quarters are still a work in progress which in no way infringes on the guest quarters. That alone is amazing that they can do that and still put out a quality experience for their guests. My wife and I have rehabbed our kitchen and main bath so we know a bit what they are going thru. Our room was very comfortable and the walk in shower was a plus. This was the 2nd stop out of 3 for us and all had a walk in shower but theirs was the only one that was laid out in an efficient manner. Hats off to them or their design team. All in all we had a great visit for our stop in Frankenmuth. If ever back up in that area will have to make a stop.

We had the absolute best time getting away from our daily routines and enjoying this wonderful gem of a place with the best hosts! Jim and Alice made us feel like close friends or family who genuinely care about their home and the people who enter it! Our room was wonderful! I loved the bubble bath tub and spa feel, the cozy bed with crisp sheets, the wonderful view and LOVED the breakfast! Alice did an incredible job and puts her heart into a wholesome meal! We really enjoyed talking with them both after breakfast as Ruby the pup happily weaved around us. Our first time at a B&B and will surely return!! Thank you Jim and Alice, God Bless.

Our first time stay at the Frankenmuth Country Bed & Breakfast was a wonderful experience! We were met at the door by Alice, a gracious host and owner, who gave us a little history on the making of the B & B. It is a cute and cozy B & B where you feel like you're right at home. Wonderfully decorated, special touches added, comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast served made our stay a positive one!

Jim and Alice were wonderful, thoughtful hosts. Their home (yes it felt like home) was welcoming and comfortable. From the delicious breakfasts to the yummy cookies, all the little details were met; including the resident Goldendoodle, Ruby!

Absolutely the most comfortable place. Alice and Jim were more than welcoming, Ruby AKA the golden doodle is a sweetheart. Super cute inside and out, detailed design choices. The blue hammock swings were my favorite! The front porch so so cozy love rocking chairs made reading my book a pleasant space, not to mention my favorite radio station K Love was playing. Will definitely try to make it back for another stay.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this bed & breakfast for the past 3 years. Not sure why I’ve never left a review!? However; each stay has been memorable, enjoyable and outstanding accommodations! We’ve used 2 out of the 3 rooms, and we’ve had a chance to peek at the third. All are clean and beautifully decorated/updated and make great use of the space. Little touches like make up remover wipes and a carafe filled with water and glasses make your stay like home. The bed/sheets are top notch, so much so that we purchased our own set of sheets for home from the brand! There’s fresh cookies upon arrival and a tea/coffee station along with another spot to fill up on water if you prefer over tap. The most outstanding part of staying with Jim and Alice is that they are such kind, warm hosts. Along with their friendly dog Ruby! To add the very big cherry on top is that the breakfasts are always top notch! I’ve been to many b&b’s and Jim and Alice surpass each in quality and care in their menu and ingredients! I can’t state that enough, the bacon comes from a pig Jim has processed and turned meat into bacon on your plate minus all the processing and additives you get from store bought. Eggs are fresh from their farm, fruits and veggies the same. This year Alice has even learned to mill her own flour for breads, biscuits etc. The portions are perfectly sized in my opinion. Everything is hands down delicious! If all this wasn’t enough, the value of the price for a night is very reasonable. Maybe I didn’t want to share a review in case the secret gets out at how fabulous this B&B is?!

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. The bedroom was beautiful, and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland and is only a couple miles from downtown Frankenmuth. Alice and Jim were very nice. And their cute doodle was very sweet!

One of the best bed and breakfasts we’ve ever stayed at! Alice and Jim were kind and accommodating. The house was very well kept, updated, and on a great piece of land near Frankenmuth. The breakfast was phenomenal as well! Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Frankenmuth. A short 5 minute drive to the shops and dining in Frankenmuth. Alice and Jim are wonderful and made an excellent breakfast. Without a doubt I can say that we'll be making this our annual anniversary trip.
