Guests consistently praise the hotel's friendly and attentive staff, convenient location near shops and restaurants, and complimentary happy hour. However, there is mixed feedback regarding room quality, with some guests frustrated by dated decor, poor window treatments, and the high price point for the condition provided.

This is a beautiful Hotel, with exceptional staff and service. It is one of the cleanest well kept Hotels we have stayed in. River views are available, and it is within walking distance of great food establishments, and plenty of shops are a brewery. Plenty of parking

Location is perfect. David at check in was a gem! However, Price is high. I paid over $300 for a balcony room that faces the River and was shocked to find out the room didn’t even have a window. There is a door with a narrow window, with blinds that are inside the window, which were broken and wouldn’t open so we literally couldn’t see the beautiful view outside at all. The rooms are very dated. The bedding/ blankets were very thin and not cozy at all. There is a desk with a mirror which worked great as a vanity area. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel and the lobby decor is pretty cool but the rooms for sure need updates and better/ functional window treatments. I probably would not return to this hotel and would choose a different one.

We have been coming to Frankenmuth the past 3 years. I have to say this year has been unfortunate and we will likely not be back. Especially to the Marv Herzog Hotel! The first thing we noticed is their Holiday decorations have not changed, nor has their Happy Hour drinks and snacks. We usually stay a week as is the case this week. We tip very well! This Christmas eve evening, we went to tip and wish merry Christmas to the staff, but there was no one available. Later in the evening there was someone off and on, always busy on the phone or someother task. There was never an acknowledgement, happy holidays, or Merry Christmas! I fear I upset the clerk when I asked whose vehicle had been parked in the circle drive for some time now, because I had been waiting to take a picture. It apparently was his and stated he was told it was allowed. So at 2am, this same clerk called our room twice to let us know there was a complaint about noise from our room. Both of us were sleeping. He claimed he came to the room and heard the noise. I simply hung up and went back to sleep. But we will never be returning to The Marv Hoteg Hotel. My husband and I travel 3 times a year. This year at Frankenmuth has been the most disappointing Christmas ever. The prices are higher then ever and the service has gotten extremely hostile. No thank you!

We really enjoyed our three night stay! The inn is quaint and easily within walking distance to the town activities and restaurants. Rooms were spacious and clean. The place was quiet. We appreciated the breakfast buffet each morning and the evening snacks and wine/beer for guests. We had a lovely time. All the staff was helpful and pleasant, especially the breakfast and snack ladies. We can’t wait to return. The view of the river was so pretty.

David at reception was fantastic! Knowledgeable about Frankenmuth and so kind. Meticulously clean building. Comfortable newer beds/bedding with soft pillows. Loved the hot breakfast, better than most. The free evening cocktails and munchies were a nice surprise. Quiet location with a more mature crowd.

First I have to say all the staff we encountered during our trip were extremely friendly & helpful. I have to say though I was highly disappointed in the hotel. We stayed over Friday & Saturday night paying around $750. The rooms are VERY dated. Huge snag going across the carpet in our room, carpets could use a scrubbing, sloppy caulking job around tub/shower. The room was very big, but lacked furniture/decoration to fill the space. For the price we paid I was expecting it to look like the pictures on the website. The snack time is nice but nothing spectacular. Veggies with ranch dressing packets, some cut up cheese & sausages, crackers (some stale). I was very shocked to find out they are owned by Drury Inn. Breakfast was also nothing special. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy (extremely hard biscuits) yogurt, packets of oatmeal to make your own, cereal, & the typical muffins, bagels & bread. These meals were nothing compared to what we have had at Drury Inn. It’s in a great location, but definitely not worth it for the price we paid. I was kicking myself all weekend for booking here. Highly overpriced!

First time in Frankenmuth and I must say the people are wonderful. Folks here are kind and always willing to answer questions about the area, give suggestions on what's fun to do or offer ideas on good dining options. Stayed at the Marv Herzog Hotel and the website doesn't embellish the reality. This hotel is very dated and our room was a bit shabby and in desperate need of updating. While clean, the room did have a musty smell, but no biggie. What this place lacks in ambiance, it easily makes up in friendliness. They also put on a good happy hour with free cocktails and appetizers. Its owned by Drury Inn and the company should do a better job of giving their customers a nicer room experience for the money.

Such a beautiful hotel. We stayed on the river side and loved the view from our balcony. Rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. Free breakfast and free beer, wine and snacks in the evening. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio to enjoy the beautiful view. David at the front desk is so helpful and friendly. Michelle in the kitchen kept the breakfast area clean and made sure to replenish the food quickly. Such nice Employees. We loved our stayed and will be back again

The Marv reminds me of hotels in Switzerland! Super nice staff, especially the guy who checked us in Saturday afternoon! He couldn't have been nicer! Very clean and quiet rooms... I was in 307 and had a terrific view of the river. Great afternoon cocktails with a terrific and kind lady at the bar, and a simple, but very nice hot breakfast with another terrific and kind lady! Definitely a great place to stay in the heart of Frankenmuth! Thank you everyone for a fabulous visit!
